Thanksgiving Foods Nail Tutorial (NaBloPoMo Day 15)

I made my nails look like Thaksgiving foods.

I feel weird about having live turkeys on my first Thanksgiving nail tutorial and cooked turkey legs on my second Thanksgiving nail tutorial, but what can you really do about that? It's Thanksgiving nail art tradition dating back to the very first traumatic Thanksgiving dinner.

Basically I started with a coat of white nail polish on all of my nails

and then once it dried I added the basic shapes of my favorite Thanksgiving foods in their corresponding colors, only using one color on each nail to begin with so it doesn't get too messy.

Can you guess what these are going to be? Well, I guess you could just scroll down. Or up. This game is no fun.

Then, I went back in with a second color for nails like the corn or the pumpkin that needed another color, and then once everything was dry, I outlined with a black nail pen but I think you could also just use a black permanent marker, making sure to use a topcoat after, or the black parts will wear off with time.

The images are as follows: a turkey leg, corn, a lattice crust berry pie, mashed potatoes

more corn, green beans, a bowl of cranberry sauce, a slice of pumpkin pie, another turkey leg

What will you be eating this Thanksgiving? Is it featured on my nails? Will it be featured on YOUR nails in about half an hour when you're finished recreating my tutorial?? Do it! It will be so much fun!
