How to Make a Recipe with Things You've Swiped from the Dining Hall (NaBloPoMo Day 10)

No, that's not a hamburger. It's part of a muffin. I swear. But, I'll get to that.

Today, before lunch, I took a trip to my college dining hall and this is what I took back with me:
  1. a raspberry mocha muffin
  2. a granny smith apple
  3. a small container of honey
  4. a packet of strawberry jelly
  5. a bag of rosemary and olive oil flavored potato chips

So, here's what I did:

  1. I sliced the apple with a butter knife (which is not advised, I would imagine, but I certainly wasn't going to bring a big sharp knife with me to college).
  2. I sliced off the top of the muffin and put half of it on each slice of apple.
  3. I placed 1 rosemary and olive oil potato chip on top of each half of the top of the muffin.
  4. Finally, I drizzle honey on top of all of it.

Here's what I thought when I first tasted this masterpiece:
  1. This is weird
  2. Why did I do this, and why am I going to blog about it later?
  3. This is really pretty weird
  4. Actually though I like it sort of
  5. Rosemary olive oil potato chips with honey on them are really delicious and I would recommend them to a friend or maybe acquaintance
  6. Apples with honey are good as well as apples with honey and raspberry mocha muffins
  7. The thing that was weird about this was the mocha flavor when combined with the rosemary flavor, which I would not recommend

If you are a student somewhere where there's a dining hall, I challenge you to try to make a recipe with things you can find there. But not just a sandwich. I mean, you can make a sandwich, but then I'll feel a little weird for eating rosemary olive oil honey mocha raspberry apple surprise.

I love you maybe,
Love,
Spencer
