Follow-Me-Around Sunday (NaBloPoMo Day 11)

Oh my goodness it's 11/11! Do you guys remember last year's 11/11 when I posted a videoblog of my sister, Tyler, and me freaking out about 11/11/11 11:11?? Well, I remember. I can't believe that was a year ago. Crazy.

I began the day by meeting my friend, Rebecca, for bagel Sunday. That's just a name that we made up. It's pretty self-explanitory. She first had to set up her home made camera in the proper sunlight. That's the kind of thing you do when you go to art school, and the kind of thing you don't do ever if you're anyone else.

It snowed a few days ago, but now it's pretty much green green green.

Even though it's sunshiny, someone was clearly concerned that this light post would be chilly. Either that, or it's a Doctor Who character.

The bagel restaurant we like is delightfully quirky and serves both the best bagels in the state AND Mexican food.

I've never had their Mexican food, but their bagels are the best and only bagels that I've ever had in this state. I got sesame with chive cream cheese and hazelnut coffee which is superb.

Then, we took a trip to CVS for things we don't need.

Like ghost Peeps on clearance because no one cares about ghosts after Halloween except for me (and the stars of some intense ghost-hunting TV shows).

We were pleasantly surprised to find the silly winter decorations already on display.

These were the findings I ended up with.

When I got back to my room, I watched some good MakeupbyTiffanyD and planned out a schedule that we all know I didn't stick to so well.

I finished up a project for design class that involves Elmer's glue (a childhood love) and Bristol board (an adult acquaintance).

I worked on a Thanksgiving foods nail tutorial that I shall be posting about some time in the coming month, so get excited.

Holy cannoli this happened. I love love Joy the Baker!

I Skyped with my cool sis, Tyler, and she put a salad bowl on her head. It's things like that that really solidify her cool factor.

Then, Lauren and I recorded our...prepare yourself...first ever podcast! I have to edit it and all that, but look forward to some seriously rambly conversation between the stars of your favorite blog.

I found a heart in my lunch of dark chocolate covered cashews.

Then, I worked on an ink landscape drawing for drawing class.

I sat outside on my favorite ledge and looked out at the skyline, wearing my rain boots even though it wasn't raining.

Here's the view.

They had saffron risotto at dinner which made me think of Lauren, but I wasn't really feeling the cruciferous vegetables tonight (literally or figuratively).

I concluded the day with a cup of hot cocoa which I made festive with the addition of one of my new candy canes. It was delicious. I recommend it more than yesterday's rosemary mocha mess.

Here's what I intend to do for the rest of the evening which will not be pictured:
Finish writing this blogpost and then keep working on my ink drawings and then instant message Tyler for too long and then watch The Vampire Diaries for too long and then take a shower and brush my teeth and then moisturize my face because it's the winter time almost and then fix the sheets on my bed that always fall off a little because my bed is raised comically high off the ground so that I have to sort of brace myself and then fling myself onto it, inevitably pulling the sheets off a little, and then maybe read some Salinger and then fall asleep with my glasses on and then wake up, take off my glasses, and set my alarm, and then it will be tomorrow.

I hope you had a really beautiful November so far, and I also hope that your next November is even better than this one,

Spencer Feds

What I'm listening to right now: Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift feat. Ed Sheeran (I can't get enough of Taylor Swift's new album and also Ed Sheeran is adorable and great)
